Rock bottom
They say there is nothing worse than rock bottom. That when you hit rock bottom there is nowhere else to go. That when you hit rock bottom you can only go up. That when you hit rock bottom things can only get better.
I am here to say there is something worse than rock bottom: Attempting to climb out of the darkness and losing your grip. The feeling of falling back is far worse than the first...

Every single time I find a cute boy in Utah who appears to be boyfriend potential, something happens that fucks it all up. If I hadn’t compromised my values to make my last relationship work, I wouldn’t be able to say that I’ve had a serious relationship yet.
